The Orange and White Vigil MK Writing Competition is an unincorporated network of groups and individuals. We do not have a Data Protection Officer but can be contacted at voicesofwomenmk@gmail.com

Your name, email address, phone number (if provided), your age at 1 September 2026, and the first part of your post code, and optionally, your gender, ethnicity and whether you have a disability.

This is to facilitate our response to you and your enquiry and to contact you for the purpose of the competition.
We will, with your consent, contact you about the competition outcome and we may invite you to participate in an event on 25 November or to inform you that your piece has been published online or in print.

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the purposes of the Writing Competition.

Your data will be stored on the computers Jane Whild and of members of The Orange and White Vigil MK Organising Team. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
